SPECIALTY GRADE MAGNESIUM OXIDE
DESCRIPTION:
Westco™ 200-AD is a high purity, highly reactive
grade of magnesium oxide made from magnesium
chloride brine.
USES:
Westco™ 200-AD is used as a scorch retarder in a
variety of elastomers including chloroprene,
chlorosulfonated polyethylene and fluoroelastomers.
Westco™ 200-AD is also used as a thickener in sheet
molding compounds and an acid acceptor in
halogenated polymers.
PACKAGING:
Packaged in 50 and 55 lb. multiwalled,
moisture-resistant bags.
STORAGE:
Westco™ 200-AD will readily
absorb moisture and carbon dioxide if left exposed
to air. Store in a dry location. Reseal opened bags.
