(LIGHT
BURNED TECHNICAL GRADE MAGNESIUM OXIDE)
DESCRIPTION:
Mag oxide 150 is a high purity technical grade of
magnesium oxide processed from magnesium rich brine.
This fine powder has a very high reactivity index,
low bulk density, and excellent flow properties.
USES:
Mag oxide 150 is well suited for chemical reactions
where high reactivity and rapid conversion to
magnesium hydroxide are required because of its very
high surface area. Its high purity and controlled
activity make it an excellent magnesium source for
the manufacture of many magnesium compounds. It is
used in rubber compounding, plastic thickening,
filtrate clarification, odor removal, and a variety
of selective absorptions.
PACKAGING:
Packed in 50-lb net, multi-walled, moisture-proof
bags.
STORAGE: Mag oxide will readily absorb
moisture and carbon dioxide if left exposed to the
air. Store in a dry place and quickly reseal
opened containers.
