CHARACTERISTICS:
Westco HSA-30 is a low cost, highly reactive grade
of magnesium oxide made from magnesium chloride
brine and dolomitic lime.
Westco HSA-30 is used as a scorch retarder in a
variety of elastomers including chloroprene,
chlorosulfonated polyethylene and fluoroelastomers.
Westco HSA-30 can also be used in the manufacture of
magnesium chemicals.
PACKAGING:
Packaged in 50- and 55-lb. multiwalled,
moisture-resistant bags.
STORAGE:
Westco HSA-30 will readily absorb moisture and
carbon dioxide if left exposed
to air. Store in a dry location. Reseal
opened bags.
