CHARACTERISTICS:
Westco™ HSA-10 is a low cost, micronized,
high reactive grade of magnesium oxide made from
magnesium chloride brine and dolomitic lime.
Westco™ HSA-10 is used as a scorch retarder in a
variety of elastomers and adhesives, as a thickening
agent in sheet and bulk molding compounds, and an
acid acceptor in halogenated polymers. Westco™
HSA-10 can be used in the manufacture of magnesium
chemicals.
PACKAGING:
Packaged in 50- and 55-lb. multiwalled,
moisture-resistant bags.
STORAGE:
Westco™ HSA-10 will readily absorb moisture and
carbon dioxide if left exposed
to air. Store in a dry location. Reseal
opened bags.
